Share A Layout: You Make Me Happy

Good Morning Creative Friends,
Today I'm excited to sharing a layout.

I'm still in a hotel in VA. But good news....
Hubby and I have finally found a lovely town house. It has everything I'm looking for. I even have my own craft room again. Were going to get our keys today!! Soon I'll have all of my supplies in one spot again. Now this place isn't my first pick. Its more so my hubby pick. But after much thought of pros and cons his pick was a great pick. I'm truly happy but shh don't tell him that. I'm going to shop at Ikea to help update somethings in our new town house. Over all it is a great pick and I know it even though I wanted the one that was super fancy and it had no craft room. I know what was I thinking. Fancy over no craft room. lol Well I have to much stuff and I still have to admit this one is fancy but not as fancy if that even makes since. Anyway I created a layout to share...

I had sometime after getting in early from house hunting a few days ago and I created this layout. And would you believe I did a video!! Oh My!! Now this video was done with my laptop. I had a hard time getting the sound to work and getting my laptop set up just to look down on my work. I kept this layout really simple. I use a kit from "The Scrap Room" featuring "Hello Sunshine" Collection by Pink Paislee.  The only thing that is not from this kit would be the flower  and glitter tape ribbon from recollection. I had lots of fun creating this layout!!

Okay Friends Here's My Short Video For You All To Watch.

You should of arrived from Jessica's blog Craftin and Stampin, but if you did not, be sure to start at her the beginning HERE

The majority of miscarriages happen in the first trimester
Chromosomal Abnormalities are the most common reason for miscarriages and still births
90,000 children die annually before their first birthday
Nearly 2,500 babies are lost a year in the US due to SIDS
Nearly 30,000 babies are year are born stillborn. This number jumps to 4.5 million worldwide
Stillbirth occurs 10 times more frequently than SIDS
More babies die as a result of stillbirth than all other causes of infant death a year

The above reference statistics can be found on both of the following websites if you would like to find out more information:

Too many people in this world grieve in silence over the loss of their children. This hop is meant to CELEBRATE them! You will see many different stories from the wonderful ladies in this hop. Some have themselves loss their beautiful babies, some had family members go through a loss, and some are here to show their support for the women who have gone through it.

How can YOU show your support today? Here are a few examples:

Keep your headlights on all day
Keep your porch lights on all day
Wear pink and blue ribbons
Light a candle and display it in your window
Release butterflies

The theme for this hop is any project centered around Angels, babies, pink and blue ribbons, condolence cards, tributes, and  layouts!

There will be a blog prize from Craftin' and Stampin' from online Close To My Heart store.

The "Your Own Kind Of Wonderful" stamp set is the prize for today's hop. To be eligible, please visit each blog and make sure to comment and follow along the way. Winners will be announced on the Craftin' and Stampin' blog on 10/18/14.

Hello Everyone and Welcome

I'm joining this hop to honor both of my grandmothers.  Both of my grandmother on my mother and father side lost a sweet angel baby. My father's mother lost a baby girl and my mother's mom die while giving birth to my uncle twin. But she lost her sweet baby after I was told. At that time my mom was a little girl. Her or her siblings never know if it was a baby girl or boy. My father's mom lost a sweet baby girl name Candy. She was my grandmother 13th and final child. Today I'm happy to honored them by creating this angel card.

I created this card using prime paper pack and card stock. I use an angle stamp called "You Are An Angel" by MFP Stamps. I colored my image in with sharpies. I add glitter using wink of stella glitter brush. I  used Tim Holtz tattered rose ink to distress the edges of the papers and rose. I use MCT Fun Borders Die to create the scallop border and added some gems to complete my card.

You are now off to Madge at The Scrappin Lounge Blog.

Here is the lineup should you get lost:

Polka Dot Fun

Good Morning Creative Friends,
Happy Tuesday To You All!!

I've been out of town almost a week now so I don't have much to post. Hubby and myself is in VA looking for a new home. We didn't have much luck the first few days but as the week approached we come across a lot of hopeful's. I think today would be better. We have a few lined up for us. Anyway Mark's Finest Paper (MFP STAMPS) has a new release coming up. I wanted to stop in to share a card using the soon to be released Polka Dot Country by MFP Stamps. You can pick up this fun county stamp set on October 21, 2014.  Okay enough talk on to my card....

I decide to keep this card clean and simple. I simply stamped both of the polk-a-dot panel using Studio Claico: Sunny Day and Well Red. I then layered each panel in black card stock and embossed my card base with a polk-a-dot embossing folder.

My Life Planner

Hey Crafty Friends!!
Have you had the chance to visit my YouTube page?
Have you searched lately for a planner; but couldn't find the right one.
Well maybe this one is for you maybe its not.
Here's my thoughts on this Avalanche Deluxe  Planner!!
This is my own personal view. I'm not being paid to do this!!

I recently uploaded a video of my new 2014- 2015 Life Planner LadyBird Deluxe Planner by Tim Coffey at Avalanche company. I'm super excited to have this planner. I've see a few friends use the Erin Condren Life Planner and as I said in my video I would rather spend my money on crafts then on a planner I can make. But I didn't want to make one. So I set out to find one that would work like Erin Life Planner.  And what do you know I found one. I was beyond over the moon because the price was so amazing. I picked it up at my local Barnes In Noble. Anyway I want hold you up. Look at my video to see just what I'm talking about and if this planner could work for all your needs.

Keep Warm!

Good Morning Creative Friends,
Toady I wanted to share this wonderful winter card.

I know why am I thinking of winter. Well the last few morning when putting my girls on the bus its has been cool out. And I would grab my coffee and set outside to enjoy the lovely fall weather. Fall and Winter is by far a favorite season of mines. So I created this cute card. I started by using a die by Spellbinders  Label #29. I use it to create my card base. I found my old pattern paper by The Paper Studio and thought yes this would be perfect with my sweet snow man. I colored my snow man in with distress markers on water colored paper. I mated in black card stock and add sliver ribbon to give my card an added cool/winter feeling.  I used MFP Stamp: Brrr  Stamp Set.

Happy Birthday

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!
I wanted to stop in and share this birthday card I made for my daughter 12th birthday.  Which was list month. I didn't get the chance to post so here I go. For today's card I started out by using a die by My Creative Time. I used the same paper for the banner I made HERE on my card. I love the colors and just had to recreate this border using Tim Holtz distress inks. I completed this card by stamping happy birthday from Mark's Finest Papers.
