Hope You're Having Fun

Hello Everyone,
I have a question? How often do you make vacation cards? Not often for me in fact this is my very first one.  SMILING RIGHT NOW! I won this stamp in a grab bag for National Scrapbook day at a crop at a friend house. Thanks Rebecca! I have to say I love this stamp set. But  guess what I lost one of the stamps. I started to pick up and then when I begin to stamp again and  it was no where to be found. Talk about searching like a mad woman. I don't know if you have every lost a clear stamp but they are hard to find. I can't see far away and I have Astigmatism in both eyes. Talk about messed up eyes. Lol! I hope it turns up because I really love the sentiment. I used Gina K 80lb card stock. I used my Spectrum Noir Makers. Can you see I tired to do some shading with the palm tree.

This is also the first time I've every done spotlight stamping and I have to say I really enjoyed it and can't wait to try it again.

HIMCR-47 Father's Day

Hello Everyone,

BIG NEWS:

My "HAPPY GRADUATION CARD" is being Featured on "Fantabulous Cricut"  blog today.

My "ESPECIALLY  FOR YOU CARD" is also being featured on Crafter's Companion USA Blog.

Twice in one Week. Go to their blogs to see it. Woo Hoo!

Welcome to another Hiding In My Craft Room challenge. This week we are challenging you all to make a Father's Day Gift, Card, Altered Arts. Something to celebrate that special dad in your life. It can be your grandpa, father, step-father, a uncle who was your father when you didn't have one or to celebrate the God our father.  Because of him I have a father on earth.  So today I made a Folded Wallet Picture Holder that I found by Carissa Witting. You can pop on over to her blog
"Happily Ever Paper Crafter"  for all the details. Its super easy to make.

The paper I used is from Bella Blvd "Man of the House." To create the title I used EK Success Inspirables Stone Stickers,  I used bakers twin to hold my album closed.

This will be for my dad desk at work. I didn't run the twine all the way around because I wanted it to be able to stand up on his desk even if it was tied. So it can show just the back where it says Family Guy or the front and the back end of the holder.

The Cherish Sticker is from Making Memories " Defined " memories mini sheet and the Dad Chipboard is from Studio 112 " Family Words"

Here is the back as a whole. The Fmaily Guy is from the same paper line "Man of the House" by Bella Blvd.

This is what the inside looks like.

I got the little sentiments from the same paper line and add adhesive to them. I cut them out. Each one describes my dad.
Here is a picture of my sister and oldest brother

Here is a picture of my twin brother and I.
Yup I'm a twin with a boy.
I'm the oldest because I was born first Ha!

I hope you will join use this week for another HIMCR Challenge. Stop by the other DT members to see what has inspired them  and so you can be inspired by use and join the fun.

Get Well Soon

Hi I hope that your day was filled with as much crafting as mine.
I have really enjoy this day of crafts. I've never crafted so many card in one day and still get the post done to enter some challenges. I'm not sure if this would fit for a guy card but that the ideal I wanted to go with. A few week ago my dad had hurt his feet and I didn't have a "Get Well Soon" card. So the ideal of this card was inspired to have a get well card for any guy in my family. I do thank God that it was mine pain for my dad and he did have to stay home for 3 day from work. He's better and I think God for that. So what do you you all think: Do you think this is a great GUY card? I really want to build more of my guy card so that why your seeing so many.

My card today is for another challenge over at Paper and Such the theme this time is a down on the farm.
The stamp image you see is one of Paper and Such stamp set called  "Get Well Soon Chick". The inside say:
" We're supposed to put WHAT in the soup?" I want the person who receives this card to laugh when they open it. So I put the best part in the inside. LOL I love this stamp set.

The card stock used is from Paper Trey Ink, I used, brads, ribbon and pattern paper by My Minds Eye. I use my band new Spellbinders Nestabilities Label  Four Small.  Stamp: Paper and Such: Get Well Soon Chick.

Chicken Soup is Good For The Soul

Hello Crafter's
I' m really having a great week :-)
I have another card to share. Over at Paper and Such they are celebrating one year anniversary and they had a week long full of challengers. I have to tell ya a secret. I had Paper and Such stamp set for 2.5 months and didn't know they had a blog. Oops now that I know I hope to join them more often. :-) So I've been trying to use my scraps more so the papers you see are from my scraps. The pattern paper is from Echo Park: 6x6 Dots & Stripes.  I used this on my Grad Card. I just used the striped side. The button is from Favorite Findings and I did some embossing. I love the the way my sentiment turned out. Looks like its on a chalk board; and I used sheer ribbon again. I just love the clear look against other colors. I used my Japanese Scales embossing fold. I really love the way this turned out. You can give this away with a "Chicken Soup For the Soul"  book or someone who is sick. I love both ideals.

Challenges:
Recipe Challenge 3 layers, button and ribbons.
I used one ribbon going across and tied it onto that ribbon.

 Black Tie:
Basic Black and Daffodil Delight
 Desert: Embossing

Sentiment Only

I really love this polka dot paper and that may be the reason I have so much of it left. Lol this is a simple Thanks card that I will send to a friend because I'm so thankful for the many things she has done for me. I have to say I'm a big fan of sheer ribbon and The stamp is from K. Andrew Winged Things.
