Altered Composition Notebook

Good Evening Creative Friends,
First Happy Friday To You All!!!

Today I wanted to stop in and share a fun altered composition notebook with you all. I made this for a friend in one of the Facebook groups I'm in. Each month we do monthly swaps that we mail out by the end of the month. And because my friend has received her swap already and share it I'm able to share it with you all today. Which I'm super excited about because this was so much fun to make. I even did a video for you!!  My swap person is into shabby chic creations. So I was excited to give this a style a try. I love all things vintage but had yet to try shabby chic. When i Google shabby chic I found that it was similar to vintage but with lots of light colors, pearls and lace. So I thought I would give it a go. Over all I love how this turned out and was so very happy that my friend loved it as well. I used mostly items from Hobby Lobby. The pears and roes is from Prima, I used some form Thickers with the Wink of Stella glitter pen, ribbon from Micheal's, Tim Holtz distress inks and the rest being from The Paper Studio.

Now if you would like to see just how I created this notebook be sure to watch the video below.  I hope you all have an awesome day!!!

If you would like to see more picture go to the end of my video.

Let's Do Coffee

Good Morning My Creative Friends

Happy Monday to you all. I'm here to day to share a sneak peek of a soon to be release stamp set by MFP Stamp Shop. If you haven't seen this yet Mark's Finest Papers is now MFP Stamp Shop. You can find their blog HERE and purchase their stamps HERE. So this stamp set were release starting next week on November 25, 2014 has some fun coffee images using this beautiful pattern you see on the cup.  So I stamped the cup onto a die cut by My Creative Time. Colored the image in using copic markers.

You may be wondering when I got these copic well I order the Ann. edition  I believe early this month. I found that it was a waste of time buying other brands that didn't last as long as copics. Anyway my background is done using  black soot distress ink. This was a happy mistake. I was originally using this background for another card which you see next week during the MFP Stamp Shop release.  I didn't care for the image against this card base and thought well this looks like a chuck board look. All I did was swipe the pad against the paper. I finish this card using my Faber Castell pitt pen in white to make stitches and white embossing powder to the sentiment.

ART

Good Morning Creative Friends
I wanted to stop in and share a card as well as more information on "My Color Is Beautiful Art" class. Registration has begin  and you can hop on over to Tiare Smith Designs site by CLICK HERE to begin your registration. I can say I'm super duper excited because I have a seat in this class and I can't wait. Thank you to the 8 amazing ladies for a chance to join them in this class. I hope to see some familiar faces in the class as well.

Now I thought I would share this super cute card. This card was created for a swap. The theme of our swap is anything go.  I wanted to step outside of the norm of Holiday cards, flowers, and birthdays. You know the same card subjects.  So I decide to make a card that could go to a crafty friend or someone you who is all about art. I started out by search all of my MFP Stamp Shop  stamps and came across this fun stamp called "Works of Art" which is part of MFP Stamp Shop oriental line. This set has a beautiful flora branch and oriental word art and sentiments. I started out by heat embossing the word art and sentiment in gold embossing powder. I line the word art panel in black and add some gold flower sequins to complete my card. I tried the cupped sequins and found that they weren't as nice as the flower sequins were. Over all I love the look.

Okay before you go  I wanted to share one more class I learned that Tiare is having another class coming up in 2015 called My Amazing 2015 Goddess Calendar . If your thinking about creating a calendar this year and need to know where to start,  find ideas, tips, and more be sure to join Tiare at Tiare Smith Design

Hello Creative Friends,

Here's an update: I was able to get my kitchen and my girls room done before I left Va. I just want to say I love the new house and didn't want to leave at all. And I'm in a rush to get back. I had two week and a half to spend with my hubby since me and the girls first left WA in July. And I miss him already. And here we go again having to spend a little more time away from each other. I pray it want be long.  He started the new job and I'm just so proud of him. He's truly awesome. Alright enough talk. If you haven't visit me in a while because you yourself was busy  and want to see what all the fuss is all about visit my post HERE for all the update.

So toady's card is my first fall card of the year. This card is very clean ans simple. I love using Neat & Tangled "Be Full" stamp set. This stamp set has amazing script and just enough images to complete any card. I use My Creative Time beautiful "Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More. This set has several frames and sentiments.  I colored my image in using copics.

Welcome back to day Three of MFP Stamps Release. Today were release another favorite of mines. I love this sweet Cardinal set. I  had to make two card for you all. For my first card I used card stock by paper trey inks. I started by inking my poinsettia embossing folder with Heroes are  Red Royal ink. I then embossed to get the non embossed parts in read with the Kraft pop out. I decide I wanted my cute bird to stand out. So I colored the image in using Sharpies and then fussing cutting the bird and popping it up on pop dots. I use my Wink a of Stella glitter brush. I use ribbon from my stash to completed this card. I love how it turned out.

For my last card which I'm sure you seen on MFP Stamp's blog. I love this card as well. I had found some very old K&Company cared stock and know right away I wanted to use it. I went simple just so I could show case this stamp set and the papers. I went with Kraft again because it worked so well and I love the look of it paired with this stamps set. I crated a banner add a button and hemp.
